We've been discussing ideas for our survey questions. Here's what we have come up with:
1. M F
2. age range, have them circle
3. Do you know what perio is?
4. Do you know what causes perio?
5. Have you ever been told you have perio?
6. Do you know what a stroke is?
7. Do you know what causes a stroke?
8. Do yo thing that an infection in your mouth can cause problems in the rest of your body?
9. Did you know there is a correlation between perio and stroke?
10. After taking this study, would you be interested in learning more about perio?

We would like Kami to help us revise the study when we meet with her next Wednesday. We are not sure how many questions to ask about each research question. Our research questions are:
Do you know what perio is?
Do you know what stroke is?
Do you know there is a correlation between stroke and perio?

We expect our results of this research to be:
It is expected that a small portion of the community is aware of periodontal disease.
People have a low level of knowledge of the effects periodontal disease has on the body.
People are unaware that there is a correlation between periodontal disease and stroke.
